Weekend Photo Dump

Friday I met Mom, Emily, Kelly, and Caroline for lunch at The Cadaillac Bar for yummy Mexican.
Kelly and Caroline stayed for Dinner and then the girls took Maddie on a late run to Costco. Caroline enjoyed the fresh fish guy.
Maddie was slept right next to me Friday night.
Maddie enjoyed the pantry and being within arms reach of the puffs.
Matthew stole Maddie's bottle and was hiding in his tent drinking it.

Cowboys and Horses and Puppies

The trail rides have made it to Houston in prep for the Rodeo kick off this weekend. Wendy and I took the kids ( minus Andrew bc of baseball) to see the horses and wagons and cowboys and girls. Matthew thought the hay the horses were eating were French fries and called them cows. He wanted to pet but would only touch a second. He was more interested in counting the horses and petting some puppy dogs.

Fun Day with Andrew

Matthew had school and Randy had to work today so Andrew and I had the day to ourselves.
10- drop MCC at school
10:15- visit the Williams
11:30 - trip to Walmart to spend allowance
12:30 - trip to Lego store in Galleria because we didn't like selection at Walmart
1:30 - lunch in food court as we watched ice skaters and discussed gangs. Andrew gave me the general disruption of a gangster: wears Michael Jordans, really likes sports especially basketball, has grills, has ears and nose pierced.
2:15 - raced to pick Matthew up from school
Rest of afternoon- constructed Lwgo set and mommy made breakfast pizza (yum!) for dinner.
It was a great Presidents Day. Which we celebrated them individually so we could have more!!

Documenting toes and lbs.

Andrew 6.5 years
Matthew 28 months

Mommy...I don't know

When I was in my last trimester with Matthew every ounce of me ached at the end of the day. I would try to explain to Randy how exhausted my body was and all I could mutter was,"I don't know...I just don't know."
Now at 2 years old when Matthew get tired he says, "Mommy.....I don't know.". I just think its the funniest and sweetest thing ever. I've always heard that you are suppose to read to your baby before they are born and now I believe it!

Squeezing in one more visit

After church we swung by the Davidson's hotel to pick Luke up for one more visit before they left town. They certainly had a good time together!

Last Basketball Game and a Runaway

Saturday was Andrew's last b-ball game. It was such a fun season to watch him tear up the court. He grew so much confidence and became known as the 3 point shooter even though they don't count 3 pointers. We had a quick trophy ceremony and cookies afterward.
Then Matthew decided he wanted to walk home pushing his stroller. Our compromise was to let him out at Frostwood and Overcup. And...off he went!

Sweet Saturday

The Davidson Family is in town for the weekend so Luke came over to play with Andrew for the afternoon. They picked up like there hasn't been a second between their last play date. Their imaginations were just running wild! They are so creative together!! I think Luke spoiled us with the connection that he and Andrew have.
Luke said: I think Andrew thinks I'm his brother because brothers think alike and we think the same things.
Such a sweet relationship!

Scrapes

Andrew has been wanting Scrapes since he saw him in the mall last week. So when he got him for Valentines Day he was overjoyed! He rides to school with him everyday in his backpack. He made an information page and drawing of him. And, apparently used my phone for a photo shoot! Boys and dogs are best friends. Even stuffed ones!

Our Valentines

Valentines Day started off crazy. Andrew came downstairs at 7:25 and we had him dressed and the the car with his special donut hole Valentine breakfast. Then Caroline and Oma came over and we loaded up to get a valentine pizza and treat for Emily and take her lunch. It was fun to see Emily at school with all her friends. Then I quickly ran into Andrew's scho party to snap some pics and off we were to see Julie and Paul's new house. Love it!! Then back to Andrew's school for library and grabbed then to No's house to deliver flowers and candy. We came home and grilled steaks then enjoyed chocolate covered strawberries and red velvet cake while we shared our family valentines. It was an exhausting day but one FULL of valentine love!!
