Need more apples

Andrew went to see Dr. Lindhorst for sealants but only walked out with two. Apparently two of his teeth have cavities:(. So instead of sealing them, we will have to fill them:(. Have to blame this one on his daddy. My first filling was last year.

The Day of Hats

Today Andrew took his 100 day hat to school for tomorrow's 100th day celebration. Matthew slept for 2 more hours after Andrew left for school and didn't see him leave with his hat. But, as I was backing out of the driveway to take Matthew to school, he started telling me Hat, hat mommy! So back into the house I went to grab a hat for him. He wore it to school and out on the playground. And, when randy an I got home from a dinner date tonight..guess how we were greeted!!!

Valentine Fun

So I decided I would do a little count down to Valentine's Day and let the boys open a Valentine day until Feb 14th. Each little bag has a little clue to what is inside. I realize Matthew is still way too young to understand the concept but this is what Andrew DIGS!!! It was so fun watching him open his first Valentine last night. Then the first thing he did this morning was ask if he could open up today's valentine. This boy loves a present!!!

Small joys at Gymboree

Tuesday is our Gymboree day. Matthew LOVES it. He can pretty much run the class because he is always a step ahead of the teacher. He helps her prepare for the next step by pulling out the parachute or putting innner tubes under the floor mat. And just like Andrew did at this age, most of the time he is the first to demonstrate each task.
But, he very very very favorite part comes at the very end....Gymbo dance, hip hip Horray, and of course Gymbo stamps. It makes this 2 year old one happy boy!

Baseball Boys

Andrew and his friends have been gearing up for baseball since the fall. This semester Andrew and two classmates are carpooling to practice on Wednesdays. I think this has been good for Andrew to meet and get to know more of his SF friends. On some days there is even a few minutes before practice to play at the park!

Art projects

Matthew's CDI class has monthly homework. It's an art project to display in the classroom. Matthew decided he should carry the project over to his hands.....face.....and his t-shirt!!! It all started to blend together!!!
