We met up with Aiden, Harrison, and Max at the park for a Yellow School reunion. It was so fun to catch up with these sweet families, especially the McKees.

Happy Nine Years

Randy and I made a quick trip to Lauberge to celebrate nine years of wedded bliss! It was a great time. My favorite part was thinking I was playing 25 cents at an electronic roulette table and playing $25 coins and my number hit!!! Lucky #9 and cashed out at $900! Sweet stuff:)
But returning home is always tough on the boys. This is an example of thrifts that come from exhausted boys:

Sunday Funday

Randy and I took Andrew and Elaine to the rodeo this afternoon. They really were more interested in playing games and going down the bumpy slide than watching the concert-Big Time Rush. We were sad we missed the rodeo part but next time we will watch the rodeo and then play games during the concert! These silly monkeys still had a great time!

This is the way we get ready for church

2 year old style:
Dress socks and sandals
Headband in hair
Better yet...headband for belt!
Lord knows Matthew needs a belt!
And, yes, I sent him to the nursery like that! Something's are not worth a fight, especially Sunday morning!

Starts with an L and rhymes with ax

After school on Friday I told the boys mommy and daddy have a surprise for them. I gave them the clue that it starts with an L and rhymes with ax. Neither of them guesses what it was but as soon as we got to the Studio Movie Grill, Andrew knew....The Lorax. So in celebration of Dr Suess's birthday we took the boys to the opening show of The Lorax. It was a cute movie but Matthew was a little scared of the Onceler.
Afterward Randy ordered the boys food at Ruggles on the Green and they played ball in the courtyard. It was a gorgeous evening out and it was so much fun watching the boys have fun.
