Day trip to the Ranch

We woke up this morning on the first day of summer with absolutely NOTHING to do. It was a great feeling. So we loaded up and headed to the ranch for the day. We stopped at Harris County Smokehouse on the way out of town for breakfast. We made it to the ranch just in time for Candi's boyfriend to pull off the BBQ and eat. Then we road around the ranch on the rigged up truck looking for fun animals. Besides horses and cows, all we saw was a peacock. Later Randy took us down to the landing strip and the kids thought it was so fun to act like birds flying in the back of the truck.
It was a great day fun of outdoor fun and a great visit with No.

School's OUT for summer!!

Daddy took Matthew to swim lessons today so I could help set up for Andrew's end of the year party/Ms. Clark's wedding shower. We surprised Ms. Clark as the wedding match turned on and bottles of Martinelli apple cider were popped. Then we presented her with the books that the kids and the patents created. Tears were shed and fun was had! Ms. Clark then presented the awards giving Andrew the Spanish award!
Then off we were to a birthday party and the rear of summer!!

BFFs

Stinking together like bread and butter!

Playdate and Kindergarten film festival

After swim lessons Jackson came over to play with Matthew. They have the best time together. They really enjoyed the toys being moved downstairs.
The kindergarten class showed off their film they made in drama class in the film festival this afternoon. Andrew is quite the actor. His film was aliens vs. zombies. The patents created a papparazi line afterward and the stars walked down the red carpet.

First Swim Lesson and First Astros Game

Even though Matthew cried the first 10 minutes of his swim lesson, he did great and ended up enjoying it. His coach seems very loving and Matthew quickly felt at ease. He tells me he is ready to go back tomorrow to blow bubbles.....I hope he is still that eager tomorrow!
We met Randy at Minute Maid park for a game against the Cubs. Andrew rooted for the Cubs while Matthew rooted for the Stros. Matthew enjoyed the choo choo and running around picking up flyers from the club sears more than anything!

Sunday- getting ready for summer!

Today we spent lots of time playing. I decided we need to move the most used playroom toys downstairs for summer time. The boys thought it was a brilliant idea. Matthew spent most of his time cooking for his mommy and daddy and Andrew spent his time building a pool! I love Sundays!

She did it!!

Emily graduated this morning at 9am! The ceremony was beautiful in the co-cathedral downtown. All the babies were so well behaved for the while almost 2 hour ceremony. We then celebrated Emily at lunch at the Racquet Club with Aggie balloons that took a quick ride to the tree tops and cookie cake. Emily was so excited!! Can't wait for her to start her new life as an Aggie!
Later this evening, Andrew and I made a trip to go visit baby Sam. He was so cute and cuddly. He is a beautiful baby! Andrew was in awe too and has even decided that we need a new baby at our house....ha! Sam's mommy and daddy were doing great too!
