Goldfish
Matthew and Jackson have graduated from guppies to goldfish at Houston Swim Club. It's so fun to watch them progress so much in the water!

First Swim Lesson and First Astros Game
Even though Matthew cried the first 10 minutes of his swim lesson, he did great and ended up enjoying it. His coach seems very loving and Matthew quickly felt at ease. He tells me he is ready to go back tomorrow to blow bubbles.....I hope he is still that eager tomorrow!
We met Randy at Minute Maid park for a game against the Cubs. Andrew rooted for the Cubs while Matthew rooted for the Stros. Matthew enjoyed the choo choo and running around picking up flyers from the club sears more than anything!

A BIG Win
Tonight Andrew's team played the Twins in the 2nd game of the playoffs. It was super close but the Cubs came out on top for a 10-11 win! And, guess who knocked in the winning run??? #11, Andrew Corson

Blast from the past
My sweet friend Jenn, who now lives in Chicago, emailed this pic to me today. She stumbled upon it as she was going through old photos. I think Andrew was three maybe four here. Soccer is really hard when you're that age! I just think the picture is so sweet!

Slugger Fever
Andrew is dying to knock the ball out of the park. It hasn't happened yet...but it's sure to before too long!
Now, to keep our cap up and out of our eyes while we are out in the field...that's our next goal.
By the way, the Cubs are ranked #1 in our division right now with 5 game winning streak. Hoping for a fun playoff season!!

Andrew - First Coach Pitch Baseball Game
Andrew's first game of the season was tonight! His team won 16-1!! Andrew hit 2 line drives into right center field!! So, Andrew is batting 1000! It was fun to watch and exciting to see the boys having fun! We celebrated the win at Freebirds and Andrew contributed a foil statue to the collection.
Go St Francis Cubs!!

Last Basketball Game and a Runaway
Saturday was Andrew's last b-ball game. It was such a fun season to watch him tear up the court. He grew so much confidence and became known as the 3 point shooter even though they don't count 3 pointers. We had a quick trophy ceremony and cookies afterward.
Then Matthew decided he wanted to walk home pushing his stroller. Our compromise was to let him out at Frostwood and Overcup. And...off he went!

Baseball Boys
Andrew and his friends have been gearing up for baseball since the fall. This semester Andrew and two classmates are carpooling to practice on Wednesdays. I think this has been good for Andrew to meet and get to know more of his SF friends. On some days there is even a few minutes before practice to play at the park!

Donuts, Corson Diner, and Fan Club
Everyday that starts w donuts is such to be great! And it was!!
Andrew and Matthew work well as a team in the kitchen. Momma is well fed! It's so cute when Matthew is stirring something up in a fry pan. He runs is place!!
Andrew's basketball season has been super fun. He is tearing up the court. This week he scored 8 of the 15 goals. It really makes watching him fun. And watching Matthew cheer for his older brother is just as cute.

Weekend fun
Randy is at the ranch this weekend. But, that's not going to stop us from finding some fun. Poppa took Amdrew to the St. Thomas High School foot ball game. The Seels spent Friday night with us so Saturday morning was filled with pancakes, driveway art, and driveway bike races. Andrew was invited for a play and dinner with Seth and Melissa came over and put up our tree for us. It looks FABULOUS! I am so excited about the final product and ready to take on the Christmas season!!

Thursday is our LONG day
Thursdays are jam packed. We have Bible Buddies/BSD then stay for lunch at the church with the other mommies and kiddos, Andrew has SF karate, and then Little Gym karate with Seth. Sometimes we have dinner at the Racquet Club for Mexican night if the weather is nice. Tonight we stayed in and I worked on clearing out Matthew's closet. I'm so sad to see some of my favorite outfits get packed up.
Andrew's homework started this week. So far he loves it and looks forward to sitting down to complete it. I could only hope it stays that way as long as it can! But, Matthew has also wanted homework. Last night he and Randy "worked" on his own homework. Randy would draw a circle and then Matthew would draw the eyes inside. I was pretty impressed! It's so cute to see him take pride in his work and show it off to his big brother.
